The Time Is Right For Partners

The Partner Network here at Magnitude Software has been expanding rapidly over the past year across all of our product lines.  The need for high-quality Enterprise Information Management Professionals to represent, sell, and implement Business Intelligence, Operational Reporting and Corporate Performance Management, and Master Data Management solutions has never been higher. While the increase in demand from the market seems obvious for many of us in the industry, there were some additional insights, provided by Aaron Zornes of the MDM Institute in his keynote at the MDM and Data Governance Summit in San Francisco recently and Gartner’s report “Competitive Landscape: S4/HANA Service Providers.” In this blog, I’ll highlight the need for partner skills in and around Master and Reference Data Management and follow on in regard to Corporate Performance Management in a subsequent piece.

The MDM market is taking off.  The need for complete mastering and governance of all master and reference data domains has never been higher. Aaron reported that the mega-vendors only make up about half of the over $1B market place and that the best-of-breed vendors make up the rest.  Magnitude Software is well positioned in the every-domain space with a proven track record of large enterprise success in Master and Reference Data Management. Our track record along with the pull coming from the market presents a phenomenal opportunity for our current and prospective partners to expand their practice or develop new skills to complement their existing system integration and business intelligence practices.

In previous years, most market demand has been from the very large enterprise space. That’s no longer the case. Data management and data integration savvy consultancies realize this and are incorporating Master Data Management into their reference frameworks and best practices for system migration, implementation, and optimization.
